Croatia's lump-sum freelancers face higher costs from 2027

The bill went to parliament on 10 Sept and only affects pausalni obrt above EUR 40,000 in receipts
Between EUR 40,000 and EUR 50,000 the deemed-expense allowance would drop from 85% to 70%
Between EUR 50,000 and EUR 60,000 it would drop to 55%, and contributions would rise
Expect about EUR 1,300 to EUR 3,000 more a year. The government wants it passed by December
